The company respects the privacy of all visitors to our website, Thise.dk – and ensures that all personal data that you make available are processed confidentially. Our employees, as well as third parties paid by us, must respect the confidentiality of your data. The following policy on data security, which concerns our websites, is intended to provide you with the necessary details related to this. Den følgende datasikkerhedspolitik, som er omhandlende vores hjemmesider, har til formål at give dig de nødvendige detaljer i forhold til dette.

2. Collection, processing, and use of data
When you use our website, for example by using a contact form, we collect data about you.

2.1 Personal data
Personal data means all kinds of information relating to a human person who, in this context, constitutes a data subject. Personal data relates to any information that may be used to describe or conclude anything related to your identity, such as your name, phone number, address, or email address.

Statistical data that, for example, is collected when you visit the website and does not concern you as a human person, is not included in the definition of personal data.

2.2 Use of the information
If you only visit our website to find information, we do not store any data about you, except for the information that allows you to visit our website. This includes

  • IP address
  • Date and time of your search
  • Time difference to GMT
  • The webpages you have visited
  • Access status/Http password
  • Transmitted data volume
  • The website from which the search was carried out
  • Language and language versioning of the browser

The user’s IP address is deleted or anonymised after the visit ends. In the event of anonymisation, the IP address is modified in such a way that personal or material information can no longer be traced to an identifiable or identified natural person and, in the event that this is possible, only if it requires a disproportionate amount of time, finances, and great effort. We analyse data in a so-called log file in an anonymised form to improve Thise’s online offers, to make the website more user-friendly, and to ensure that we find and correct errors on the page more quickly. The data is also used to ensure that the capacity of the website is sufficient and to ensure that an appropriate data volume is accessible on the website.

2.3 Contact form and other interactions
In addition to the information on the website, there are various ways whereby you can interact with us on the website. These include the contact form and sign-up for our newsletter, as well as competitions. To use these, you must provide personal data which we use to secure those services and which we also store. We only use the data in question for the exact purpose for which it was entered and following our data protection principles.

2.4 Personal data storage period
We only store and use your data for the period in which it is relevant for the purpose for which it was collected. Personal data subject to a legal retention period will be deleted when this period ends. Other personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer relevant for its purpose or to secure, exercise, or defend legal claims.

2.5 Transfer of data to third parties
Data collected by Thise Dairy will only be transferred to third parties if it is necessary for the completion of a contract or payment, or if you have given your consent to this in advance. Companies that provide us with a service may only use data to perform their task. It is prohibited and illegal for them to use the data for any other purpose, and none of the suppliers we have chosen will do so.

3. Cookies
Cookies are small files that are stored, and which concern the specific computer unit you use, as well as the settings and data necessary for the exchange of information with our system through your browser. Cookies cannot run any programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They are used to make our overall online services more user-friendly and efficient.

We use two different types of cookies:

  • Session cookies: which are deleted when you close your browser (i.e., at the end of a session)
  • Temporary/permanent cookies: stored for an extended period or permanently on your computer unit. Storing these cookies helps us design our website and makes it easier for you to use the website; for example, by saving specific inputs, so you do not have to enter them again.
You can, at any time, delete cookies in your browser’s security settings, and you can customise your browser’s settings according to your wishes. The help feature in the menu of your browser will usually show you how to reject new cookies and delete old cookies. If you choose to do so, you may not be able to use all the offers on our website.

3.1 Cookies we use on Thise.dk
Most of the cookies we use are session cookies, which are automatically deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browsing session. Also, we use cookies that remain on your hard drive. When you visit us again, these enable us to automatically recognise that you have previously visited the website and what your preferences are as regards the information we have on the website.

The cookies we use cannot be linked to a particular data person and, therefore, not to you. When a cookie is activated, it is assigned to an activation number. Therefore, it is not possible to link your personal data to this number at any time, nor are any attempts made to do so. We do not store your name or any similar information that allows for the cookie to be linked to your data person.

3.2 Web analytics with Google Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse websites to understand consumer behaviour on websites. The information generated using these cookies is transferred to a Google server in the United States and stored there. Before consumer behaviour is analysed, your IP address is shortened in such a way that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. To this end, Google Analytics uses the ‘anonymizelp’ code to ensure the anonymised collection of IP addresses.

Google will use information collected through cookies to analyse your use of the website, compile reports on website activities on behalf of the website owners, and to provide additional services associated with websites and the Internet.

As described above, it is possible for you to configure your browser in such a way that it rejects cookies. You may also choose to prevent Google from collecting and using data collected through cookies related to the use of this website by downloading and installing this browser plug-in.

For more information about Google and data privacy, see their privacy policy.

4. Data rights
4.1. Right of information
You may at any time ask for information regarding the data stored about you, the purposes of the processing, categories of personal data processed, recipients or groups of recipients to whom personal data is or will be disclosed and, if possible, the planned duration of the retention of personal data or, if not possible, the criteria used to define that period.

You can always contact any employee of Thise Dairy to exercise this right to information.

4.2 Right to rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing
You have the right to request rectifications of your personal data at any time.

Also, you may request that your data is erased if the data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which it was collected; if you wish to withdraw your consent to the processing, and there is no other legal ground for the processing; if you wish to object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; or if you wish to opt out of the use of data for direct marketing; when personal data is processed illegally; or when the erasure is legally binding on us.

In addition, you may obtain restrictions on the processing of your data if you disagree with the accuracy of your data – for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data – if the processing is illegal, but you decline the erasure preferring to restrict the use; if we no longer need your data, but you need data to assess, exercise, or defend legal claims; or if you object to the processing, pending verification of whether our legitimate grounds override yours.

You can always contact any employee of Thise Dairy to exercise the rights mentioned above.

4.3 Right to object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time, to processing if the processing is necessary for the performance of a task performed in the public interest or subject to the performance of the official authority empowered to us; or if the processing is carried out in pursuit of our legitimate rights or those of a third party, and your basic rights or basic freedom in terms of data protection are not a priority.

The right to object also exists when we use personal data for direct marketing; this also includes profiling associated with direct marketing. Your personal data will no longer be used for direct marketing after an objection.

You can always contact any employee of Thise Dairy to exercise this right to object.

4.4 The right to withdraw your content
You have the right at any time to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data without affecting the legitimacy of the processing based on your consent until the withdrawal.

You can always contact any employee of Thise Dairy to exercise this right to withdraw.

5. Social plug-ins
5.1 Facebook
Facebook is a social network run by Facebook Ireland Limited (Hanover Reach 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland). Facebook features can be recognised by the Facebook logo. Depending on the feature, additional information may be available (e.g., ‘Share’, ‘Like’).

When a Thise webpage contains a Facebook button, and you click that button, your browser or application establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers, and the button for that specific feature is loaded from there. In doing so, the information accessed by the respective Thise webpage is transmitted to Facebook.

An exception, however, is when you visit a webpage where we use a Facebook plug-in to show Thise’s latest activity on Facebook Thise.dk. In this case, your browser or application will establish a direct connection to Facebook’s servers.

If you, at the same time, are logged in as a user on Facebook, it is possible that the visited page may be allocated to your profile on Facebook. If you click on embedded Facebook buttons and then log in to Facebook (or if you are already signed in), the information that was ‘liked’ or ‘recommended’ may be posted on Facebook on your profile and timeline in an abbreviated version. Thus, Facebook may collect and store additional user data if applicable. Therefore, it is possible for Facebook’s user profiles to create more than what you publish on Facebook.

At no time can Thise Dairy learn which Facebook buttons you have used and when; instead, Facebook receives a summarised, anonymised statistic about the use of Thise’s fan page on Facebook and summarised statistics about the use of Facebook buttons.

You can learn more about the data Facebook collects for its purposes in Facebook’s data policy. For more information about Facebook’s data collection and data processing and about your rights in this context. Facebook’s data policy can be accessed here: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

6. Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps service operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (‘Google’). This service is used by us, mainly to provide the integrated “Contact” service. To embed and display Google’s maps in your browser, your web browser must establish a connection to a Google server that may be located in the United States when it accesses a contact page. This gives Google the information that the contact page was accessed by your device’s IP address. For more information, visit Google maps’ terms of service.

7. Data security
We secure your data based on the same principles as we secure our own, which includes, among other things, using well-known suppliers. As a food business, we are accustomed to prioritising data security highly.

8. Legal basis for data collection
The legal basis for this is Article 2(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition, we process data with your explicit consent in accordance with point (a) of Article 6(1) of the GPDR, as well as to meet our contractual obligations to you or to exercise pre-contractual measures in response to your queries in accordance with point (b) of Article 6(1) of the GPDR.

9. Changes to the data privacy policy
This data privacy policy was issued in May 2018. We may occasionally choose to update it.
